A few days ago I posted a problem I had with my 37 Case CC clutch being stuck. I tried all of the suggested tricks to get it loose - driving it around, rocking the tractor back and forth in gear but nothing worked. Finally I took off the inspection plate on the left side of the clutch housing and tried hitting the clutch on the back with a big brass punch, that didn't work either. Finally I loosened the eight bolts compressing the pressure plate about 5 turns each and then rocked the tractor back and forth in 3rd gear and it broke loose. Works like a charm now and saved me from having to split the tractor. Hope this helps someone else in the future with the same problem
