Hi guys, first time on this forum. I recently acquired a 2 bottom plow, after researching in the archives on this site I came up with that this is a 2 x 14 case centennial model it is on steel wheels I am trying to figure out about what year that this plow was made, being it is on steel wheels I would have to think it is pre WW2, does this sound right and also what years were these made on steel wheels. Any info is appreciated thanks, Dan

150 Years of Case by C.H. Wendel covers Case plows and writes that in 1937 to mark the centennial of Major Andrus. Case decided to build an outstanding tractor plow. Production started in 1940, 3 bottom 16" plow sold for $165.00. Production continued to the 1950s at that time 3-16s retailed at $447.20 dealer cost. Lots more info in the book.

My father bought a brand new Case Centenial plow in the winter of 1954. It had steel wheels and 2 14" bottoms. I still have it.
