The original subject was Case CX100 power problems.
Figured I'd add this for anyone who reads this in the future for the same issues. Replaced all filters, checked lift pump, turbo, and made sure fuel lines where
clean. Didn't help. Took the injection pump and injectors in for service. Had a couple bad injectors and the injection pump needed work. Apparently the
Delphi/Lucas pumps are lousy. The tractor only has 2200 hours. But, after all the service, it has more than enough power, pulls hills well in 4HH where it used to
not pull flat roads in 4HL. Advice given was to put some plain ole SAE30 engine oil in the fuel to make sure that the fuel components get plenty of lubrication.
The poor quality diesel of today brings out all the inadequacies of the older pumps, especially the junk ones.
