case dc tractor starter switch

Good evening to all

I was wondering if you folks could tell me who was the original supplier of the case dc tractor starter and light switches was it auto light or another company? thanks Bob

Don't know about originals, but a Delco push button from a Farmall letter series bolts right up. New ones are not nearly as "robust" as an old one.

thanks I once ran across the supplier for the light switch and could still order one but that was in the last 5 years or so anything could of happened by now as its a dog eat dog world out there!
I appreciate the post

Bob the switches were from Auto-Lite.
The Electric Auto Lite Company it was called back then.
I believe the start switch was Auto-Lite number SW-4001.
The switches available today don't amount to much.
Most or all aren't rated for enough amps to last long in a 6 volt system.
Then they're made in China, so there you go.
They're kinda tough to get apart, but I've "dressed" the contacts in a few and they went ahead and worked for a good while longer.

I have a NOS Ignition switch and it is a Cole-Hersee. I assume the light switch is the same, because of the signature Knob.

You plan on attending Sullivan FFA sale in april? Ever go to Elnora spring swap met. I understand Elnora is 2 days now.

I sprayed my original with PB Blaster, let it set overnight and it works fine. What is wrong with yours?
