Case ( Drott ) 35BEC ???

Hello what do you guys know about a Drott 35 ?? What dose the BEC stand for I can't seam to find much info on the Drott's I know they were before Case . What engine ( Case ) did they use info says 4 cylinder Case , This one has a 4/53 Detroit , What years were they made ?? I can buy it for little more then iron price . Any info would be great , just looking for a farm hoe . Thanks Bryan

Herk, there is a forum on here devoted to the backhoe/excavator market, most on here lean toward antique Case agricultural tractors and later Case ag tractors, try the crawlers, loaders ,dozers and backhoe forum on this site, I am sure there are more knowledgeable people there than on this site.

What I found was build years 1980/1990, had the Detroit and weight is 16 Tons. Not sure if allis correct or not.

After Case (Tenneco) purchased Drott, I think both Case or Detroit engines were available in Drott and Case (880-890) hoes. Around here from the mid '60s until mid '70s Drott hoes ruled, then CAT introduced the 215,225,....
