CASE G430

I have a 1964 Case G430 Tractor with a front end loader, Model 22 I think, This loader hase the pivot bar over the top of the gas tank. I wanted to see if anyone else has one of these and if anyone has ever removed the loader and frame from the tractor. This tractor needs a clutch and the gas tank needs to be removed and cut open and cleaned out and the tank cannot be removed without removing the loader. If anyone has one of these and has removed the loader I would like to hear from you how much work this really is. Would I be able to remove the bolts and back the tractor away from the loader?

When I put a clutch in my 310 with loader, I took the bolts out of the axle mounts, split the tractor and rolled the rear end back to remove the clutch. Course the pros will tell you different, but that seemed the easy way to do it. Tank should come out as I took the one off my 210 with the loader on. I don't have a 430 but would seem the 210, 310, and 430 are the same size tractors. But someone will correct me.

If you want the loader completely off you will need a overhead hoist or another loader tractor. Watch the foot pedals for clearance. A good radiator shop can clean the gas tank without cutting it open.

When I did my 310 I took the pedal and floor borads off -made it a lot easier to roll back. Yup I did seperate the rear axle mount. That was a long time ago over 20 years.Now I get th take out the engine :-D Any easy shortcuts here?

I used an engine hoist to pull the engine on my 210b-h. You will of course block up the center section safely and using the hoist remove the front end after removing the radiator. Then go for the engine.
