I was replacing a leaking 90 degree hydraulic fitting on my 48 SC yesterday and couldn"t remember how the spring and ball bearing fit into the pump assembly. Does the tapered end of the spring hold the ball bearing up against the inlet hole in the pump? I am not very knowledgeable on these things.

Don,t know much about the SCs but generally the small end of the spring goes against the ball bearing and the big end against the cap or plug.
