Case IH 95A tractor

I just bought a used 2021 Case IH 95A and had delivered today. I test drove and everything was great at the seller's. When the guy delivered he tried to put the range gear into II or III and said it would not allow him to put into either of those 2 ranges and unloaded the tractor in range I. After it was off the trailer he tried again and said it would not go into ranges II or III. The delivery person said he was not familiar with the tractor but when he loaded all ranges were working. Is there something that needs to be done to allow this? I just received a pacemaker and have restrictions that prevent me from getting into the tractor at this time. All of my previous tractors have been x66's and older. Does anybody know of something he should have been doing that would allow this or what the issue might be preventing the shifting? When my son gets home he is going to put it into the barn for me and may know what is the issue. Thanks in advance for any suggestions you may offer.

I had a 100C and a 110C. The linkage on those machines are junk. Constantly hanging up or not allowing you to shift. We would crawl under tractor and tap on the linkage while someone was shifting (tractor not running).

My friend has a 75a and I've run it many hours on baler and loader work. Never had a problem. Don't know if that's the same. Wonder if you can lube the cable or linkage whatever it has.

I have a 23 55A with the power shuttle. You need to put it in 1 and put the shuttle in either forward or reverse to spin the transmission so the gear teeth line up. Just need to bop it. Sometimes the trans comes to a stop and lines up beautifully and sometimes the gear teeth are off. Remember, gear shifter I, II, III are not synchro so you have to be stationary when shifting. 1-4 are synchro so you can shift on the fly. However, all gears/ranges must be shifted with the clutch pedal depressed. Not a powershift transmission at all.

If what Connor says doesn't work I would call and talk to the dealer. A brand new tractor has a warranty and if there is a problem the dealer needs to know and you need to get the problem on record.

The A series is the “Economy” series. The 55-75 are built in turkey and the same tractor just with engine tuning differences.

The majority of the maintenance on those you will have to take it to the dealer. If you read the operators manual that is what it will say for the majority of it.

Needs to adjust the clutch? Take to the dealer. (Seriously)
Need to adjust the brakes? Take to the dealer.
Also, you can clearly tell the manual was made in turkey as well. It is awful.

Want to install the loader 3rd function valve? Good luck, the instructions for that were practically written on a napkin!

I will say that so far it has been a handy tractor to have (aside from the water pump going bad in the first 50 hours).
