Case/IH Farmall 75

Does anyone know anything about these tractors, newer model, MFWD, about 75 hp. Are they good tractors, or are there problems with them?

I bought a new 2010 95. Had a tranny seal leak into clutch early, a light problem early and a little AC bugs All fixed under warrantee and trouble free now for four years. Turbo four SIPS fuel. Buy the 95 with the 5 year zero interest plan.

We need to know which Farmall 75 your talking about.(C,N or A models) There are 3 or 4 models all being built in different places including India. They have almost a zero market share here in the mid-west. I have only seen 1 or 2 on the farms around here. They all are a Fiat engine and the Fiat engine is not that great. The under 100 hp CIH/Farmall tractors really do not stir up much support around here. There are more Kubota than smaller CIH/Farmall around here.

A local dealer has 2 of these tractors that were taken in on trade with 300-500 hours on them. They are A models, but I do not know what that means. He wants 15,000 each for them....

A Farmall 75A is built in India. It is the lower speced model. It has dry disk brakes and is around 68 PTO horsepower. They have a simple open center hydraulic system. With around a 10 GPM flow rating. This would seem slow on a loader. Most have a single set of remotes as the dual remote is an option. If you look at them you will see they are a economy base model tractor. Which is fine if that is what you are looking for. Meaning they have few bells and whistles.

Are these the ones in Dowagiac, Michigan??? I see they have 4 to pick from. These must be some type of lease return tractors. They may have had very light use. So the asking price of $15K is in line for a 2wd base model.

The NH T4 and Case Farmall A ranges are built by Turk Tractors in Turkey and finished at the NH factory at Jesi in Italy - these are based on older Fiat designs.

The sub-65HP tractors have 3 cylinder engines, the higher HP have 4 cylinder engines.

Engines made by Fiat sold under the FPT brand; FPT are becoming one of the leading farm tractor engine suppliers around the World - even John Deere use them in their latest 5G & 5M series.

Yes, these are the tractors. Perhaps there is a reason why these tractors are not selling. I know the local JD dealership offered me a brand new comparable tractor for about 2,000 more. I am not sure how old these case/IH tractors are....

Spud I am also researching them and did a post a few days ago. Not those tractors but the farmall series. A is an open station C is a cab version. From what I got they are good and durable they are the same as new Holland workmaster. They are a basic no frills tractor like an old long or case 585 etc. (which is what I like) I was told they are made in India so are some Junk Deeres, So not sure on wizzo's made in Turkey post. At least there is dealer support unlike an off brand and they are selling around me but more in New Holland.

jd's experience has been different than mine, 2-1365 olivers and three hesstons later the fiat engine maybe the toughest thing going. If the newer fiats are any derivative of the older ones then the tractor will be great and parts will be high. Parts and service were the only bad tastes before and with nh and cih now in the fiat market parts should become a bit cheaper BUT, I wouldn't run from one for a chore tractor.

Thank you. I went to the dealership today to look at the tractor(s). They are advertised as a 4wd, but are 2wd. The dealership apologized for the mistake. The tractor being a couple of years old was built in Turkey, and final assembly in the US. Apparently now they are made in India, because of political unrest in that part of the world, is what the dealership said. I don't know....

From what I gather they area good tractor and if bought for the right reason they are ok. Cannot compare to say an $80000 machine They are one of the few entry level tractors that are supported by a name brand company. Massey is also made in India. One dealer told me they are seeing no problems besides the guys that could brake an anvil. 2wd is ok if that is all you need. good luck
