Case L fuel strainer fitting

Finishing up my 1930 L and have a question. I found an old brass top for a dual fuel, fuel strainer. The top threads into the bottom of the gas tank. There is a threaded input pipe and a threaded (same size) output pipe. I can"t figure out the thread size on the input and output pipes (both male thread). The o.d. of the pipe(s) is 0.563, and they are threaded 20 tpi. Looks like maybe compression fitting. What in heck screws on here? I"d like to use an adapter to connect them to flare ended tubing. I"d like to use this pretty brass strainer top.

Any help would be much appreciated. I"m trying to upload current photos of the nearly finished Model L.

Thanks for your help. First, I have checked all over the net, and I think the threads on that old brass fuel strainer are 9/16 - 20 NS, an odd thread that was apparently used on some 1920-40 automotive applications. So, its not correct for my 1930 L, and I'm giving up on it.

Second, I ordered a replacement all fuel strainer, and will see how that works out when it gets here at the end of the week.

Third, about the red fans on the 1930 L's - do both tractors have the flat belts? Case made different fans for the L, as they apparently had cooling problems pretty much from the start. Most of the flat belt water pumps, pulleys, etc were replaced after 1934, whenever an L was serviced. It might be that the red fans were replacements, because in all the original Case L literature I have ever seen, the fans are not red. Would be neat if they were, but I can't say I've seen evidence of it.
