We had this Case L for about one year sitting out back. We finally pulled it up and poked it in the shop. Engine was siezed of course with the pistons 2 at the top and 2 at the bottom. After some work we got the pistons out and got the rings loosened up. #4 piston and sleeve came out together. We got everything thing back together and the head back on. The mag was good and cleaned up the carb. Pulled it out side belted it up and it fired right up. The rear wheels are junk but the guy who we got the cross mount from give us a set of steel for it. I can start it on the crank and it runs good with no smoke. I am building floor boards for them I want to put it on the Dyno for a bit. These Ls sure have fast low gear in them.

Thank you for posting! She is a beauty and that rear steel looks awesome
It’s like I am looking into the future. Sounds like mine coming home next month has sat for 15 years so I’m likely in for a similar experience
