Case model 22 loader

In a trade I received a David Brown 885 with a loader. The decals are faint but I believe it to be a Case 22. It mounts to wrap around bolt-on frame and sits on round tubular pieces sticking out on either side of the bolt-on frame just in front of the operators feet. Where the loader meets the round projections, there are large knobs that look to release latches that clamp the loader to the tractor when unscrewed. It uses a single, center mounted bucket roll-back/dump cylinder.

The previous owner passed along two rectangular, metal tube, three foot long fixtures that are supposed to be used in removing and or storing the loader when not on the tractor.

I have been unable to find any info on this loader. I would like to remove it to facilitate repairs to the tractor but do not know how or how to use the fixtures.

That sounds as if it is a Dunham Lehr or Agco model 22 loader. I have the directions on how to install and remove if you don't find them online.

(quoted from post at 11:36:14 01/28/18) Take that back. Would be a model 2 with one bucket cylinder.

The decals have deteriorated as well as painted over but the number "22" and the word "LOADER" are visible. Both read vertically from top to bottom. The design of the decal is very much in line with what Case used but the name Case does not appear. I can find no other identification. The round (3"?) mounts, large hand knobs and the ratchet/pawl type under-lock seems somewhat unique compared what I have been able to find online. Of course, I have been using CASE is the search.

If you've literature that sounds like it might be correct I'd love to have a look.

Scott, punch in Dunham Lehr loader 2-c and you will find Agco pubs. Scroll down until you see the manual for your loader. I would type out the instructions but would take me too long. Look for a serial # as there are 2 different books. Hope this helps. You can also e-mail me a phone # and I can call you.

Dunham had a 22 and also a different older model that I do not know the model but is what I had. That had levers to unlatch but when went to the 22 they got away from that. It was on a Ford 4000 (4100) 38" rear wheels.

Thanks guys. I managed to find enough info, in particularly about using the stands that I think I can get the loader off. I appreciate the help.

Can anyone confirm that the DunhamLehr model 22 loader fits a Case DB 885?
I am fixing up an 885 and am looking at this loader, but not sure it will fit:

Thanks in advance
Can't confirm it, but.... you can make most loaders fit most any tractor.

However....

It looks like the latch is broken on the left where it clips to the mount on the tractor.

Mike

Dunham Lehr loaders could be made to fit many different tractors with relatively little modification compared to other loader designs. You will have to drill some holes and figure out where the mounts should be in relation to each other.

UNLESS you can 1000% confirm it was removed from a David Brown 885, there is a 0% chance that it will bolt on directly.

Thanks for the feedback here gents.
I'm ok doing some drilling and welding of parts (thanks Mike for pointing out the broken bracket), so long as the loader is overall a generic enough build to fit the tractor.
It's on an online auction yard now, so we'll see how the bidding goes.
