Case MR plow

Anyone have a good. clear pic of an MR plow? After wearing myself out trying to find a pic that looks like the plow I have, the MR looks closest to it, but all I can find is parts book covers on Ebay. I'm trying to figure what series I have to help me find points.

It most likely has EX bottoms on it. Look at the back of the moldboards it should have the series stamped into them such as EX16 EX14 etc. EX means they are EX bottoms and parts are available new. If I am wrong about this I should be corrected!! The EX and other plow bottoms were avaiable for all plow models. Here in OKla all I have ever seen are EX bottoms though they made others.

Not up on my plow models, but if you have the modern plow with square cut bolted beams, & "raydex" style bottoms, shares are no problem. If you have the older style plow with rounded bent beams that look like railroad rails, those shares are tougher to find.

Thanks for trying to help guys, but let me make this clear again- this plow uses points, not shares. I've got a moldboard, a landside and a point and that's it. No share, no shin. What I'm trying to do is determine exactly what plow I have so i can go to my old line Case dealer with a list of possible fits or maybe paw through his books looking for fits and then if I can give him the numbers I can get him to go down into the dungeon and look for the points I need. His father was the farm guy, this fellow is the appliance salesman, and dad died 10 years back.

So, if I can figure which plow I've got I can hopefully figure what will fit and go from there. My JI Case books don't help either. If someone knows of a site that's more hardcore Case, please advise me.

It looks like the MR plow is the box beam type. I have a Case plow bottoms parts book. I see they did indeed make some bottoms for these newer plows with the old style points and moldboards without shins. The CX is one along with TSCX, TACX, TABX KXM, CXM, CXQD maybe others also. If you can get a number off the back of one of the moldboards I can look and see if they are listed in my manual and see part numbers for the points.

Or I am thinking the CX was only for the B model plows. Anyhow the backs of the moldboards usually have the bottom series stamped into them up in the middle no dismantleing needing they should be visible.

Any of these look familiar?

Here are some pictures of the M series plows (and the earlier BER series)

This is a BER series. Note the curved shank.

This is an "M" series. Note the break away hitch.

This is a "MR" series. Later style shanks with no breakaway hitch.

This is a later "MRB" series. Category 1 hitch rather than eagle hitch setup.

Very last one at the bottom- the Scotch Bottom. That's the type pf set up I have.

I'll see If I can scrape off enough dirt to see any part numbers.

Okay I see the moldboard for the GE Scotch bottom is GA10 and for this particular bottom it lists two shares a CG9 cast share and a SG9 share.
