Case Mrb 2 furrow plow

Hi
I have a Case MRB 16" 2 furrow plow it uses A shear bolt 1/23"
Just wondering if I need to use soft bolts or is a grade 5 bolt soft enough?
Don't want to break some thing else when she hits a rock or something.

I use grade 2. Better safe than sorry. Also, Unless you have a large tractor on it going super fast the tractor should probably slip before you break the plow.

My VAC and 300 will both easily spin if I hit something.

I was looking through the archives today and didn't know you restored A
MRB plow don't know if I can get my plow looking that good you did a fantastic
Job on it.did find new decals for it?

the MR/MRB plow is a fun and easy plow to restore. all of the main components will fit on a 4x8 sheet of plywood.

I have the PDF versions of the MR/MRB manuals if you would like them.

Maple hunter decals should have what you need for decals.
