I removed the C2 and C3 unit out of a case 870. I can not get the planatary appart can anyone help? I added some images i hope they load but they might be able to help you see what im trying to do.

John the planatary assemble should just pull out of the pot. Try turning the planatary back and forth while holding the pot stationary and vice versa while pulling out on the planatary.

Have you removed the three cap screws in the front of the planatary threw the little holes?

No we have not i can not see any to remove. Where should they be at? Are they under the 3 plugs in the planetary ring gear?

We have tryed turning the planetary but it does not want to come appart.

They are three holes about a half inch diameter in the front of the planetary, in a triagle shap, once you find the holes you will need to turn the shaft to line up cap screws.
