Case Seed Drill 482L?

I recently rescued this from the woods on my property. It is definitely a Case and it has 482L stamped on it. But I can't find any information on its origin online. What's the best source for finding this kind of information and if anyone has a definitive idea of when it was manufactured that would be great too. Thanks!

P.S. I know it's upside down. The bin has become one with the earth again and this seems like a more interesting position anyways.

I dug one out this spring for her to plant flowers in
Put a little gravel an dirt in the boxes
Pulled it around to where she wanted it


It has been years since I used one an had forgotten they are back heavy when loaded

Yea I had to put the dirt an rocks back in

If you look closely at the 2nd pic you can see the Case Eagle to the left of the "482L" (very faint).

Nothing says "Eagle" on it. Just "Case", "482L" and another imprint that is too rusted to make out but I am going to guess 511-L?
