Found this windrower in woods is it worth restoring any one what it number is 561872aw9 what year is it was going to cut up and make a kart for tractor restoration moveing tractors abart around thanks for any help,john.

Looks like a "B" model swather, 1952, 9' swath. Missing the pull hitch it would be a struggle to restore. 12' and 15' are more common here.

looks like hitch for transport can be moved to operation point.is ground driven dont know why its here in north east Ill not comon here. what is it worth

I think I would try to restore it. 9' windrowers aren't common and it would look good in front of the small 5'-6' combines at a threshing bee.

Too bad that's so far gone, would be about right with my 77 combine. Plus I don't need any more projects. Lol

Myself I would keep it for parts in case you find a better one. There is little to no frame on it and the tires are shot. You'll be better off building a cart from scratch by the time you beef it up and find wheels and rubber. But anything is possible. Remove all the drive parts and sickle and guards and lay a sheet of plywood in there where the canvas would go and you'd have a handy little trailer for no money. If you stay in the yard with it you could even run it on the steel rims without tires.

Thank you guys, for the information, im a john deere guy, notvery knowegable about case implements,just wanted to know before i cut it up im not ruining somthing worth saving, would be happy to let some one take it very cheap if they need parts or want to restore thanks.
