case0350 power steering

What woud it take to put power steering on a case 350. I would like to find the gear driven pump assembly instead of the belt system. Where could a guy start looking for everything it would take to convert the tractor. What kind of money are we looking at?

I think the 350 is very similar to the 5-600 series, they used a gear pump ran from the timing gears and an inline assist motor installed in the steering shaft. Don Livingston has been a good source of parts for me, If he doesn"t have them he usually can find them, also Fred Goodrich who has been posting here lately may be able to help.

Your can buy new steering valve (Torque generator) from Burden Sales Co. I have heard some say to use a power steering pump from a car. It probably is in the archives.
