Need some help, I know the big nut with dipstick attached here in picture a is the gear transmission oil. Trying to figure out where to fill up hydronic fluid, is that this in picture b that I am pointing to?

Yes , and your dipstick for hydraulic oil is the small square pipe plug just in front of it that has a rod attached to it. Keep track of the oil level in each reservoir and if you notice your loosing hydraulic oil and gaining transmission oil, you have seals leaking and letting the oil transfer. If the oil gets too high in the transmission, you will have it coming out in places like brakes and shifter. The oil can be drained from a plug on bottom rear of transmission. Use a good grade of hydraulic oil, the equivalent of Case Hytran, off brands will tell you on the jugs they meet the requirements. The triple-range transmission is lubricated by this oil.

Joe (Wa) is the expert on this but to help his diagnosis tell a little more about what is happening. Are your lift arms staying up when the tractor is shut off, does the oil transfer happen even with the tractor setting unused?
