caseih 1020 vs 2020

guys my bean head is to the point its wore out and i should replace. have a 1020 20 foot head now and looking at going to a 2020 head that's 25 foot. anybody have and pro's or con's with the 2020 head ? feed back would be great.

Can't help you much but i run a 1020 as well and thought about a 2020 and the salesman and the parts man at my dealer said to stay away from them. I think they said it was something about a double drive knife maybe. I know a neighbor had one and his beans always looked like they were cut with dull scissors.

two years ago my brother upgraded from a 2388 with a 30 foot 1020 to a 5088. he was told by several IH users to pass on the 2020 and go for a 3020 or a draper. he bought the 30 foot draper. many said the 1020 was a better head than the 2020. good luck
