Cat D6D TRACK CHAIN

Is it possible to fit a Cat D6D chain onto a Cat D5B. I realise the chain pitch is different, but will D6D sprocket segments fit to the sprocket carrier on a D5B. Is that all that is different, or are the front idler and carrier rollers different also?

A tape measure will answer the last question.

Unless someone knows, you will have to get a couple segments and try it. Check all the segment numbers because I THOUGHT one of them was shorter than the rest.... so you can get one of each for the test fit.
