Cat Tail removal

What will kill cat tails and keep them from coming back? I got some that are spreading.

Get them all spay or neutered. They will eventually die off.

The place where these are is pretty well dried up but they are still green. I don't know which is worse cat tails or Alders.

I guess for that matter, it might work in this case too.

Never thought about that. I just like to as a Kidd to mow them with the New Idea sickle bar mower . Was fun watching them fall like big timber . Broke up the hours boredom of mowing .
