CAV injection pump leaking at pump head

Hi Guys,

Can I pull the pump head out and replace the o-ring that seals the pump head to the body while the pump is still on the tractor? Perkins 3 cylinder.

Best have the complete pump resealed, other leaks usually show up soon after the patch job was done.

Sounds right, thanks. I'm a good mechanic, rebuilt many engines, is it something I can tackle myself with the pump on the bench?
