any body on here good with the cav injection pump on a mf 135. my tractor has been down for a rebuild for a couples of years finally got it all back together and went to fire it up and i have no pressure and very little fuel coming out the injector lines. it has new filters and i bled the air at the filter then the bottom vent screw on the pump and then the top vent screw on the pump still nothing. so i bought the reseal kit took the top off the pump and everything moved freely sealed it back up. then i took the back pressure reglator plat off and found some goop in the spring and plugger hole cleaned that up everything moving freely, then i took the assist to start part of the bottom of the pimp and found the plugger was stuck got that cleaned up and moving freely. got it all back together tried starting it again and still no pressure and just a drip of fuel coming out of the injector lines. any body know what i could do next

If it's like most pumps I repair that's set awhile the rotor plungers will be stuck, and a complete tear down, clean and reseal will be needed to get it working again. Worst case you may also have a seized head assembly..

There are some tools that's best to have to repair the pump correctly, it's easier for me if it's not been apart before I get to repair it even though I've been at it 40 years.. Never good to tell a customer there is sever damage to expensive parts because they insisted on doing it themselves.. My E-mail is open on classic if you want to get in contact, be glad to chat if you have more questions..

I run a small injection shop and would be glad to help you out if you are in need. I have done hundreds of Cav DPA pumps. All are run on a test stand and come with a one year warranty. I have helped out many guys from here and NEVER charge a dime for helping a guy out needing tech help over the phone. I dont type very well so feel free to give me a call. Good luck,,, Al 231/757/0064

The biggest mistake everyone seems to make (and I'm speaking from experience) is cranking the engine (to bleed out air) with the throttle closed. Try loosening the fitting at each injector and cranking the engine at WOT and see if you get fuel flow then.
