CC steering stop

Can anybody tell me where the stop is supposed to be? Can crank it all the way around and it only stops when it hits the brake housings. Something broken or missing???

I`m fairly sure they just do this. I have a CC and it`ll turn all the way around. I`m thinking they do this to use the same gearing on a C and a CC. the pitman arm on the gearbox is used in the 'up' position on narrow fronts and in the 'down' position on wide fronts.

There is a bracket that bolts on to the 2 bolts on the top transmission cover just below the steering arm shaft that acts as a stop. It was removed when converting to wide standard front, when the steering arm went down instead of up. Later DC's had the stop cast into the top cover itself. I'm recalling this off a partially fuzzy memory. I can picture the bolt on stop, but not positive on the years it was used.
