CC water pump

My CC with electric start needed a new water pump so I bought a dc pump and had it modified for the CC. A bonus is I now have a pulley to run an alternator.
A CC block with electric has an indentation in the block to accommodate the starter. Neither the DC and the crank start CC do not have this.

Nice thing to have the extra pulley. I wish any of my cc's had the electric start. I believe the last 39 cc's had the starter provision. All others were ci or c changed over to become cc's with starters tho very few people know for sure.

Did you have a machine shop do that for you after you bought the pump or is there a scoure for making that pump. I think by buying a lower water inlet elbow from a very early DC you could put a generator on the cc's

I took it to machine shop. Not expensive to do. I would like to have an inline generator for it. I'll check out the early inlet elbow. Thanks.

The inline generators are hard to come by. Have been told the DC water inlet has the generator bracket so make it easier to mount a normal generator or alt. I have a cc pump that has been leaking awhile so will want to do your up grade soon as the leaking makes a big mess.

Did the machine shop just modify the pulley or did they do something to the new pump. Would like to know as I own a few cc's and would like to have that option in the future. Thanks

Widefront37 Could you contact me with name of machine shop or the details of the modification they did. Getting ready to buy or order a new pump and would like to get that option done thanks. Bill.
