CCM 165 Drum mower

Hi yall i have CCM 165 drum mower, when cutting it leaves uncut grass in the middle of the two drums. its almost like the blades are not long enough? it does not leave hay at full length but does not cut all the way as the rest of field leaving me with a bunch of strips of uncut hay. Any help or suggestions in much appreciated

Are your blades worn down? Also with my Sitrex (spelling) it needs to be level front to back and side to side. Mine doesn't leave any strips except sometimes when doing the back swath we don't hold out far enough and leave some of the hay where the tire has ran over. Don't know if this will help or not. You either have worn blades or are running the mower tilted too far forward. The mower needs to run fairly flat to cut correctly. This is different than a disk mower which you run tilted more forward.

It could be wrong blades. There are a lot of different ones out there. I got some wrong ones once and they hit the adjacent disc.

I have a JF Stoll disc mower and the aftermarket blades are too short so I use factory ones.
