Changes in eBay search feature

Has anybody been on eBay today? They've done something to the search feature that has completely screwed things up.

Example: Previously, when I did a search for say, Fordson and tractor, if the auction listing didn't have those two words in it, the search results would be zero. (I usually got a couple hundred results and had them arranged by price).

Now, as of this afternoon, I get 1700 results back, many or most of which don't even relate to what I am looking for.

Is this another case of eBay taking something that wasn't broke and "fixing" it?

I tell ya, they're doing everything they can to make me stop using their site...

OK, I've vented now. Still torqued about it, though...

Searching for "fordson tractor" gives me 87 hits.

If I pick "Search title and description", the same search gives me 158 hits.

Whatever your problem was, it appears to be gone.

Ebay seems to have something with all there running ads that bogs down my system then I can't scroll. If I run adaware clean up then it works again , but only a short time.
