Changing motor in 4-180

I"am geting ready to change a motor in a 4-180 (the old one droped a valve) My question is how do I support the 2 speed gear box or is it better to remove gearbox with the motor

I have only done this a couple times however I always pulled the three speed with the motor. Easier to match up clutch splines I thought

taking it all out would be the best way to do it.

I don't think there's enough room to get just the engine out, i tried that on a 4-150 and there wasn't enough forwards room to even get to the PTO flange bolts at the flywheel..
