I was the guy who conked out in the Tractor Parade @ Vista yesterday. My '48 JD"B" Ran great all morning , but right in the home stretch, it plugged with fine rust particles and I had to cough and pop over to to the side. Didn't take long to fix, but it kinda embarassing....

Embarrasing huh? BTDT at a couple of parades. Model A Ford truck first parade of the season, failed to file the points before the parade season. Midway through the parade on a downhill she conked out. Coasted into a full service gas station that had a points file in the service bay. Second time going up a steep incline with an almost empty gas tank with the Model A. Gas went to the back of the tank and, well, you guessed it. Coasted back into a driveway and watched the rest of the parade go by. Jim
