Check my timing

gears

So finally had some time to work on putting my 3400 3 cyl gasser motor back together, that timing mark to the gov/dizzy drive just looks off - I think it's the different thickness of the gears, the gov gear is half as thick as all the rest.

Not enough resolution to see the marks in the gears that well but I trust you have them marked with red accurately.
I would say you are good to go.

The mark for the distributor drive gear doesn't have to be as perfect as the others. The crank and cam marks need to be pretty exact as there's no other adjustment for them, but If the distributor is within a couple of degrees you can use the regular timing adjustment of the body of the distributor itself to get it where you need it.

The marks are all on, it just looks weird.

And who lets the specialty single use tool manufacurers have a say in front seal design?! Spent some of my reassembly time turning a piece of aluminum down so I could drive the crank seal in.
