Chevy 235 PVC?

I am getting rid of the old 216 in my 47 1/2 ton. I will be replacing it with a 54 truck 235. I have been thinking about the crankcase vent or road tube that want to drip a little oil. I was thinking if a guy removed the road tube and fit a plug with a PVC valve where the road tube was. Then drill a hole in the intake manifold and vent the crankcase to the intake. Would this work? Thanks for any advice.

you could run a breather tube up to the air-breather also, check on side of manifold, there might be a bolt on the side that can be removed and run hose there....if you do any mods for PVC valve, change the oil cap for one that breathes to get circulation...there use to be a after market kit for that change over,,,J-C Whitney used to carry it, maybe other accessories company"s still might have.

I purchased one of those kits once for a "Y" block Ford. Mine had a plate that went under the carb with the PCV valve next to it. Stuck a tapered rubber plug into the draft tube I believe and hose was connected to top of canister on draft tube.
