chevy heads id

I own a 400 chevy engine and cant id the heads, I know they are 1.94 1.50 cvalves, but dont know the cc's. Here are some numbers i found starting from left to right side.

- 3973483- ths is how i read it, the 3's ,may be 8's and the 8's may be 3's

-T- in the middle
-GM 7 - in the middle also
-C0NV3-
Also found on the exhaust side- 993 5 483

Thats one head but the numbers are diff on both-
-3878498-
-C17 72-
-GM 34-
-C0NV4-

these are 76 cc heads 71-72 year the block is 70-73 year there is a site but I don't know how to link it here but type in (MorTec, Inc. chevy block casting numbers) and it will come up alot of useful info in there your heads should have # 3973493. hope this helps Roy

type the motor block number or the head #'s in & hit search at the top of your screen. The sites for mortec & others will come up & you can scroll down to the numbers and all the info you want will appear.

The link is www.mortec.com those are small valve smogger heads. Pretty much worthless. It would take way too much money to get power out of those heads if you're doing a performance build.
