News to me. General Motors had a hand in the Sampson Sieve Grip tractor in their running battle with Ford Motor Company, but if there was a Chevy tractor, I don't know that there was ever any record of it. Maybe some kind of a kit and they used a Chevy motor instead of a Ford Model T motor?

Home made possibly. From an old Chevy motor ans chassis. There was a lot of them around here years ago. Everyone called them a Doodle Bug. We had one we used to haul wood out with, some used them for garden work in lieu of a horse. Most had 2 transmissions so they would go really slow. Poor mans's tractor 🧑‍🌾

All I can say is that over the last 35 years the topic of Chevy tractor has come up here now and then.

kinda surprised GM didn't get into the ag business besides supplying Detroits later on.

They were in the truck and construction equipment markets and it would have been another way to market engines and have the "all Chevy farm" (have a copy of a 1954 ad that shows Chevy trucks and cars on the farm "all Chevy farm"
