well been going at it god now Beside's work now. putting 5 to 8 loads up a day so i figure i'm doing good.here's some pics. yes that is an M running the blower and yes it worked fine. burned 3/4 tank of gas doing it though. it was all fun anyways. that's my friedn's son unloading for me. (under supervision) fun for him

That's the chopper and tractor ,had lotsa problems with this chopper (to be expected since i paid $500 for it) but i don't regret it . sure chops nice got the head for $250 and spent $100 on a new blower band. nice shape otherwise

Is that a Hesston or a Gehl? Looks too bright for a Hesston but too dark for a Gehl in the pic. If I had to venture a guess though, I'd say Hesston.

We got our old 3000 for free initially, but we've stuck a few hundred here & there in it. We replaced all the teeth in the pick-up head, found an electric motor for the mounted sharpener and the tie-rod assembly for the sharpener to attatch to the knives, replace dthe gathering chains on the corn head, new shear bar, new springs for the feeder rolls, used new band we stole from our other Fox, and a bunch more I've forgetten already. Works pretty good now!!

Looks just like my CaseIH 781,except the new blower band that I put on mine this year wasn't $100. More like 300.

it's a 720 IH chopper. the blower band if used slightly and it's off of an 830 IH chopper. got another box (18 ft badger) from a farmer that i chopped for for 2 weeks plus he filled both tractors up with fuel before i left. i saw a guy over my area chopping with a fox. looked pretty cool hooked up the a 9 or 1086. not sure who it was but it made me think of you Don.
gotta chop for someone else AGAIN this weekend but he only has a 40 x 12 to fill that will only take like 12-15 loads to fill.

Those small ones fil up quick!! our small silo takes 9-10 loads, and the bigger one takes 18. That's enough to go about 10 months out of the year, but haylage is so hard to pitch by hand we don't like putting any of that in the silo.

We got about 16 1/2 loads of 4th crop in the bag, we'll see how hard that is in the middle of winter. The bagger guy said he's seen lots of guys use the pallet forks or bale spear to loosen it up first and then get it with the bucket.
