CIH 7140 using water

I have a 7140 with about 6000 hrs on it. This past fall it began using water to the tune of about 1 gallon per 10 hours. I went through the proper steps of filling it and making sure the air was bled out. It does not show up in the exhaust that I can see. I have parked it on concrete after it was warm to see if I could locate the leak but I can not. The water treatment canister has been changed routinely. I am looking for assistance in further diagnosing the problem. Thanks in advance.

Am having similar problems with high hour (9,000+ hours) 7210. I suspect a slow leak in the radiator once the engine reaches operating temp - ie when the cooling system is under pressure. Otherwise there is no evidence of coolant leakage whatsoever.

i had talked to a radiator guy several years ago he told me the bottom radiator tanks were made of stainless steal and
they rusted out over time and they leaked

Have you made sure it is not getting in the oil pan? Just make sure it has not been ran for a few days before cracking the oil plug. This tractor is newer than the ones we had , is it a wet sleeved engine that
the o-rings could have failed?
