circle B decal

A short qestion for the 2 lunger guy"s.I was thinking that JD didn"t put the circle B decal on both side of the fornt of the tractor unitl about 1947..so i didn"t put it on. A guy walked by my 1945 B the other day and asked where the circle B decal was... told him what I thought and he said it should be there.I think not, but can anybody out give me the corect year JD started puting the cirlce B decal on the tractor. When the pressed steel frame and battery box seat came out. I believe it was 1947. Ron Mn

That is correct. On the '45 B it should read "Model B" on the seat channel reading downhill from the pulley side. Mike
