cleaning machine for cement floor

I am looking for a floor cleaning machine that will work on my cement garage floor. Would like one that scrub and pick up dirty water. Thanks

I worked in a plant that had various models of Tennant brand floor scrubbers, both walkie and rider. They worked good but are pricey. When we brought one in our garage for service we would run it over the garage floors. Might find a used one online though.

Ask the custodians at the local schools, malls, office buildings; they can likely tell you where theirs's comes from and or who services it. Then you can check with that place for new and used. WD Matthews website says they have a line of floor care equipment.

i have a tennant sweepscrub walk behind i use at my shop. uses a scotchbrite type scrub pad, sprays down water and cleaning solution and vacuum s. the water back up. contact sweep scrub dot com, they sell new and used machines.

Tennant is what we use at work, frequently found at used equipment dealers. When working properly they do a good job.

Upright Hoover carpet/floor cleaner around 150 bucks. Good for just about any surface but would recommend hand scrubbing with Mean Green first for oil stain on concrete. The wife can use it to do spot/carpet cleaning also. They do make small buffers that scrubber pads/brushes can be put on. It would be cheaper to rent than to buy them.

Machines that hold and pick up water are pricey but really good, no doubt. I have a heavy duty manual commercial scrubber which uses a scotch brite round pad. You have to put down the soapy water and mop. It works well. On a similar note, I have a Karcher KM 7030C sweeper which saves a lot of time. It's cordless and has a 45-60 minute run time. Push syle, not self propelled, about 36" width. Highly recommended.

Unless the concrete is polished you wan to use a brush, not a pad.
