I have a Clinton red horse 9.6 hp. I have heard and seen it run in the past, maybe 10 yrs ago or so.
I started a project to use it on, cleaned carb out and points, it will fire off once in a while but will not run. Has 95psi compression and it appears the fire is constant and not skipping, plug out trying to start spark is constant. It does start leaking gas out the bowl when I stop the starter. Does it sound like my problem is carb related or something else? I purchased a manual off eBay but it does not cover the walbro carb that is on my engine so I’m not sure if there is one out there. So any help would be greatly appreciated or if there’s another forum for small gas engines like this one. thanks matthew
