Anyone still using one of these? I always thought they were a cool concept. My uncle used to use one years ago, said it saved a trip or two with the disk. Mine is for a three bottom and I mainly plow with a four bottom so might have to try and find a bigger one, if there's any left.
Hopefully my pics load
Thanks
Derek

Are you using a phone to post? It seems they always post either sideways or upside down. Many posts back in the archives about that problem. Those things did do a nice job but I have not seen one since I sold mine back in the 60's. Think it would have worked with a 4 bottom plow but I only had 2 bottom plows at that time. Later wished I had kept it. Actually the one I had was the only one I ever saw.

I?d like to have one of them . This site is the only
one I?ve seen that doesn?t play well with pictures it?s
miserable to load them and then half the time
they?re upside down or sideways _. Where are you
located

I live in central Michigan. I'm going to give it a try this spring, we just got a ton more rain so might be a week or so on this heavy ground.

Hold your phone horizontal instead of vertical when
you take your pictures you have to experiment with
which way to hold it to get the pics right side up

They work great and were used around here in cent MI a lot back in the '60,s and '70,s for minimum tillage , plow/plant operations. Probably most went to scrap when price was up. They were said to take the HP of one plow bottom.

I would have to agree with you Randy scrap prices took care of a lot of older equipment. Blows my mind the stuff I see at the local scrap yards.

(quoted from post at 04:03:37 05/07/18) Where about in cent. MI? I'm about 6 mi east on Wise rd.

I live just south of Evart. Takes about 45-50 minutes to get to Mt. Pleasant from my house.
