clover paint

I am doing a cheap paint job on my 550. I figured putting a little meadow in white paint would get me clover. FIrst time, it looked right in the can but when on the tractor looked too white. Mixed it again and this time it came out too--though I like it. Wondering if anyone else used this method and what ratio they used.

W&R Paint Supply -- 1148 Tusculum Blvd., Greeneville TN, Phone # 423-638-4169, ask for Wayne. That's the clover white He made in rattle cans for me to use. He mixed them from the PPG paint chart. He get's 25$ a can. If you don't want to buy the cans, the ratio is 10 parts white to 1 part green. I hope that helps.

Yeah he can make any color you want, the green on my tractor came from there also. For whatever reason with the codes I gave him from the museum that’s the green I chose which I’m very pleased with. I definitely didn’t want it that JD green. I think there was 3 different shades of green on the original equipment back then. My green ( see the pictures) may have been on the crawler at some point or it was a happy mistake that was the green that popped out..
