Clutch adjustment

I have my new clutch and pressure plate back together on my 2640. I do not have the adjustment tool I believe it is a JD227. Is there another way to make sure it is adjusted correctly. Thanks

Shouldn't need adjusting, just check that the fingers are close to even.

If your 2640 uses the JD227 gauge, I believe it is 2.012" from flywheel surface to contact face of the levers. Levers to be the same height, within .010". A 2030 requires some clearance modifications to the gauge, the info is in the TM and should be in your TM, if modification is required.
