Have you checked the throw out bearing clearance, with the tractor assembled? You clucch pedal should have about 1 1/2" of free ctravel, before the release bearing even contacts the release levers on either clutch. If there is clearance, there should be no reason for sippage.

I have like 4 inches on my peddle free travel and if I look into my site hole on bell housing 3 drive fingers are half inch from throw out and the 3 PTO fingers are a 1/4 inch away. I had all 6 adjusted 1/2 at first and it slipped bad. So I went back and did what I mentioned in top of message. Doesn't slip much when I put in low range. Just high range. Weird

My next thought; Could the main disc be in backwards. Not being a smart A--, it happens quite often. Not being familiar with your particular tractor, I can only guess.

When I took apart to change they had it with the bigger cone on the disc facing tranny

Try taking just the disc, place it against the flywheel and see if the lining hits solidly, then flip is and see if it makes better contact. If the hub is contacting the pilot, or center of the flywheel, it shouldn't.

Ya it wasn't. The Clutch that goes against the flywheel on this teactor is the PTO clutch. The drive clutch pushes again the cent plate. Looks like I'll have a long day adjusting till I feel as though it's right lol
