Outboard roller bearing on my R will just barely go in by hand and I can seat it against the washer that way. Wondering what holds it there. It's not a press fit but it is snug and I don't know if that's enough. Does anyone add any loctite between the outer race and the pulley bore to be sure it doesn't spin or is the friction so low on the rollers and crank that there is never enough torque to ever spin the outer race? There is a bearing retainer that goes in last against the bearing and sandwiches the bearing between it and the big washer. Does that friction pinch and hold the race in place well enough to provide proper retention? I am putting everything in new and want to make sure the outer race doesn't turn in the pully bore.
