Does anyone know where I can get a quality clutch disc ? I bought one from this site and am afraid to put it in the tractor. There isn't much
material on it at all before you get to the rivets .

Thanks in advance !

There is always Just 8 n's, but I got to wondering. Is there any difference between a tractor clutch disk and one from an early Ford vehicle?

A clutch from a 1940 Ford car will fit a 8N or 9N. I worked at a Ford Auto Dealer back in the 70's and used them all the time in tractors. All factory reman clutches from Ford had the same lining as a new clutch had, Dennis.

I would advise avoiding A & I as well.

The ones sold by CNH will cost more but will work as intended.

I think this site leaves much to be desired when it comes to parts and service and generally buy elsewhere. That said I have bought three clutch disks from here and have not had any issues. Unless you are using the tractor daily for dedicated farming I doubt you will notice any problem.

I checked a new clutch disc I am installing into a small SUV tomorrow. it checks 0.62. I would be more concerned it it was to thick

I will check it everyway possible just encase I have an issue when I call LuK I have the info ready.

I wish the specs were sent with every set.
