Just wondering how good these tractors are ?and what are they valued at in good condition. Any down falls? Gas model.

The 40/E4 and 50/E5 are the same tractor, just a larger engine in the 50. 273 vs 230 Buda. 230s are wet sleeve, 273s are cast in block cylinders.

That is both I think. As I look up each tractor and both have the same production numbers

I'm told there were no records kept of which became Cockshutts or COOPs. It's not uncommon to see COOPs painted red, either by owners or dealers. A-Cs aside, orange was not a popular color for tractors. My E4 is orange but my two E3s are red. FIL bought one new and the other from an old neighbor. I don't know who painted them.
