cockshutt 35 3pt hitch

On my cockshutt 35 i went through and cleaned the hydraulic valve and hooked up the 3 pt hitch for the first time. I only have pressure on one side of the valve when i move the leaver. any ideas what the issue might be?

I may be wrong, but it's my understanding that the 3pth on models 40, 50, 560 and 570 are all very similar to the one on the 35. If that is the case, you can check paragraphs 209, 210 and 211 in the Service manual of the 500 series for adjusting and overhaul procedures. Hope this helps.
