Cockshutt 550

I ran across a cockshutt 550 and was wondering the value. It
has surface rust and cracked tires. It starts right up and runs
good. But the tin work and tires are in tuff shape. What would
you say the value is?

about like everything out there its worth what ever people are willing to pay. it sounds about the same condition as mine which I gave 1,800 for usually to me I seem to see them in original condition for around 3 thousand but there's not a bunch of them out there and sheet metal can be hard to find always have to factor in the price of finding the parts to fix it and check the manifold they dont make reproductions of them and when you find a good old used one your looking at 300 bucks all day long. hope this gives you an idea there great tractors I hope you get it.

Also depends on if it's a Cockshutt 550
or an Oliver/Cockshutt 550

The tractor sold for 1700 but the power steering was out and good sized oil leak so I just stayed clear. Thanks for the info though!

About ten years ago I watched this nice 550 sell at a farm auction. Think it sold between $2000 and $2500. Absolutely flawless but I guess I didn't want it bad enough at the time. I'd sure take it for that price today.
