Howdy, I posted this problem on the skid steer forum and didn’t get a reply, thinking perhaps this could also be a tractor problem. See below. Thanks
I have a L230 that every once in a while it throws 3141 code, keeps running fine, just beeps. If I turn it off and restart, it’s gone. Next day EST shows the code inactive. I have checked and cleaned the rail pressure sensor and engine connectors with no luck, with a meter hooked up and each end and moving wires I don’t get a fault. Looking at the service manual the next step would be maybe replace the rail pressure sensor or the bypass valve on the rail. These parts are expensive and would like some advice before throwing parts at it. Thanks in advance.
Code 3141 is fuel pressure out of range.

Daniel, I wish I could help you. We have a L228 at the shop that keeps losing power, throwing all sorts of codes related to fuel rail pressure, burn valve solenoid, has thrown 2 codes 126 times and we just can't figure it out. This stuff is just getting too complicate for an old man. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. I deleted Def, Dpf, Egr and Pcv and it helped a lot with throwing codes and derating. The book said my problem/code could be anywhere in the fuel system so I decided to start with the suction part. Found a quick connect fuel line coupler that was loose and would wobble, going to delete quick connect. Also found that the fuel cap wasn’t venting, there is a steel ball and a valve moulded into the cap for what I assume is a safety to stop fuel from coming out of vent if a roll over occurs, it was stuck and wouldn’t vent, now that is gone. This may not solve the problem but it was a good place to start.
