Combine straw spreader paddles?

I have a 105 Deere combine that we are putting a straw spreader on. My paddles that spread the straw are shot (spreader came off a parts machine)and they are no longer to be had by Deere and parts depot shows none. Is there someplace I can buy them? Could I make a set? My son wondered about using some old drive belts off the variable speed. Any ideas? This year our rye is standing good and we want to just cut about a foot of the straw and then cut it with our discbine so I thought a spreader would be a good idea. Some of the straw is over six ft high and I really do not want to run all that material thru the combine. Thanks Tom

Tire bead from a simi tire cut to length is permanent. Cut it with a cutoff wheel (outside) and screw it into place with Tapcon 1/4" screws. Jim

We used traction drive belts for years. Use the ones with out the notches and they will last for years. Cylinder drive belts work well.

I used old drive belts on my 105. Old separator drive belts off of that combine are about the right size.
